About the Role
We are strengthening our European Finance organization with a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our European Finance Leadership Team.
In this high-impact role, you will lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for our Power Sports division across Europe. Acting as a strategic business partner to the Executive Leadership Team, you will drive data-driven decision-making, profitability, and long-term strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across the Power Sports division.
- Consolidate financial results across 12+ European countries and multiple business units.
- Develop dynamic financial models to support market evolution, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives.
Performance Management
- Deliver insightful monthly analysis of Actual vs Budget vs Forecast (P&L, working capital, etc.).
- Provide bridge analysis (Sales, Gross Margin, EBITDA) to identify key performance drivers.
- Design & roll out KPI dashboards and reporting tools for senior management and regional teams.
Business Partnering
- Advise and challenge the CEO, COO, and Commercial Directors with financial insights and recommendations.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Pricing, and Commercial teams to optimize profitability and cash generation.
- Serve as the key finance interface with Operations and Private Equity investors.
Strategic Projects
- Provide financial analysis for M&A projects and post-acquisition integrations.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses for pricing, product portfolio, and market expansion decisions.
- Contribute to the implementation of digital finance tools (EPM/ERP: Anaplan, Power BI, Oracle NetSuite).
Leadership & Governance
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team across multiple geographies.
- Standardize and harmonize FP&A processes and tools accross Europe.
- Ensure compliance with Group and investor reporting standards.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in an FP&A leadership role.
- Proven experience in international, multi-entity organizations (preferably in distribution, retail, or consumer goods).
- Demonstrated success in driving performance, implementing best practices, and supporting executive-level decisions.
- Exceptional analytical, modeling, and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Strong communication skills with board and investor-level exposure.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Expertise in ERP/EPM systems (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Oracle, SAP, Power BI).
